Martin plant

The Volkswagen Slovakia plant in Martin is part of the Volkswagen Group Components Group. It was established in 2000 in the valley of the Turčianska basin. It proves its significant position in the Turčianske region as one of the largest and most stable employers. On an area of 58 thousand square meters, components for transmissions and chassis such as gears, differential housings, shafts and synchronous parts are produced here. More than 90% of the production goes to the Group's plants in Germany, where they are installed in more than 60 vehicle models of the six Group brands (Volkswagen, ŠKODA, SEAT, Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles). Part of the production remains temporarily in Slovakia and goes to the plant in Bratislava.
