Choose from our offer

Get to know the Volkswagen Slovakia plant and let yourself be drawn into the world of premium brand automobile production. Watch production processes live in the dynamic environment of the production plant, where tradition and modern technologies are united.

Tours of the production halls are intended for primary school pupils age 12 and up, secondary school students, university students, job seekers in the automotive industry, technology enthusiasts, as well as families and the general public. Our tour guides will be happy to answer your questions and reveal interesting facts from behind the scenes of production.

We usually conduct tours in three production halls – you can visit them individually or choose a package – a comprehensive tour of all three production halls. You can choose to have the tour in the Slovak, German or English language.

Tour of the press shop

You’ll get acquainted with one of the most modern press shops in Europe, where the parts pressed that determine the identity of all the models produced.

The dominant feature of the almost fully automated press line is the main press, whose maximum pressing force is 91,000 kN, which corresponds to an imaginary tower made up of 4,245 Volkswagen Touaregs.

Tour of the engine assembly hall

As the name suggests, you will be taken to the place where the individual parts of the aggregate – the vehicle’s power unit – are assembled. The chassis, consisting of the engine, gearbox, axles and exhaust system – together with the body – form the basic parts of the car, which are combined into one during the so-called wedding in the assembly hall. You’ll see live the chassis of Volkswagen and Audi SUV models or for the latest models in production of the Volkswagen Passat or Škoda Superb.

Tour of the body shop

The tour route will take you to the latest body shop, where chassis for the Volkswagen Passat and Škoda Superb are created. Did you know that one chassis consists of more than 500 separate steel parts?
